Dr. Gabriel Dekel, PhD, M.Sc, Founder and Director
Dr. Dekel has a PhD in political science and local government. Dr Dekel also holds a Masters of Science (M.Sc) degree in Town and Regional Planning from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. His experience includes teaching (research methodology), School of social science, local and regional government and graduate course. He is Associate of Political Science Department, University of Waikato.
Dr Dekel has published numerous planning-related articles (Environments Canada), Plan Canada, The Australian Planner, Urban Studies (UK), Land Use Policy (UK), Municipal World (Canada) and many others. Dr Dekel developed a housing density cost evaluation model.
His work The Cost of Urban Sprawl was presented at the 1997 annual conference of the American Planning Association in San Diego, USA.
